Key Responsibilities
- Extract, collect, and validate financial and business data from public and proprietary sources.
- Prepare and analyze trial balances, accounting schedules, and financial statements.
- Transfer trial balance data to Income Statement (IS) and Balance Sheet (BS) for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Update and input data into financial models and templates as per business unit guidelines.
- Perform comprehensive analysis of income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, ratios, and segment performance, highlighting exceptions proactively.
- Ensure >99% quality of processed work with timely completion of quality-checked documents (v2).
- Raise queries promptly with team leads to resolve issues efficiently.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements, time reduction, and cost optimization.
- Participate in pilot runs, training sessions, and walkthrough calls with larger teams.
- Maintain compliance with Kroll policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assist in SOP creation, checklist development, and process documentation.
- Communicate project status and deliverables to stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and comprehension skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and reporting frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and financial modeling tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with attention to detail.
- Support continuous process improvement and workflow optimization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in BAF, BFM, B.Com, BMS, BBI, BBA, or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or Management.
- MBA or MMS from an accredited college/university preferred.
- Progress towards CFA certification is highly desirable.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience as a research analyst or financial analyst.
