Kroll is seeking a highly motivated Analyst II – Client Services Operations to join its Global Financial Data Operations team in Mumbai. The Analyst II will support internal Kroll business units by collecting, validating, and analyzing financial and business data from multiple sources, ensuring accurate reporting and enabling data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct data extraction and research on financial models and valuation reports.
- Collect and summarize financial and business data from public and proprietary sources.
- Prepare and analyze trial balances, accounting schedules, and financial statements.
- Transfer trial balance data to Income Statements (IS) and Balance Sheets (BS) for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Update and input data into financial models and templates according to business unit guidelines.
- Perform broad analysis of income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, ratios, and segment performance, proactively highlighting anomalies.
- Ensure >99% accuracy on processed work with timely completion of quality-checked documents.
- Raise queries promptly with Team Leads for swift resolution.
- Contribute to process improvements, cost reduction, and efficiency initiatives.
- Participate in pilot runs, training sessions, and walkthrough calls with the larger team.
- Adhere to Kroll policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Document processes, create SOPs, and assist in team huddles and knowledge sharing.
- Communicate project status and deliverables to stakeholders, ensuring high satisfaction.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and comprehension skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and reporting frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and financial modeling tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Support continuous process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BAF, BFM, B.Com, BMS, BBI, BBA) or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or Management.
- MBA or MMS from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Progress towards CFA certification is highly desirable.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience as a research analyst or financial analyst.
