Summary
Kroll is seeking an Analyst II – Client Services Operations in Mumbai to support Global Financial Data Operations. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in finance, accounting, or management who are skilled in financial data extraction, analysis, and reporting. The Analyst II will work with internal Kroll business units to collect, validate, and analyze financial information, supporting data-driven decision-making, financial reporting, and workflow optimization. This position offers exposure to financial modeling, trial balances, and accounting schedules, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform data extraction, analysis, and validation of financial and business data from public and proprietary sources.
- Prepare and analyze trial balances, accounting schedules, and financial statements.
- Transfer trial balance data to Income Statement (IS) and Balance Sheet (BS) for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Update and input data into financial models and templates as per business unit guidelines.
- Conduct broad financial analysis including cash flows, ratios, segment performance, and highlight discrepancies proactively.
- Ensure >99% data quality with timely completion of quality-checked documents.
- Raise queries with team leads for quick resolution and provide process improvement ideas.
- Participate in pilot runs, training sessions, and walk-throughs with larger teams.
- Maintain adherence to Kroll policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assist in process documentation, SOP creation, and checklist management.
- Communicate project status and support stakeholder satisfaction through timely deliverables.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Understanding of financial statements, accounting concepts, and reporting frameworks.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and financial modeling tools.
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in BAF, BFM, B.Com, BMS, BBI, BBA, or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or Management.
- MBA or MMS from an accredited college/university preferred.
- Progress towards CFA certification is highly desirable.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience as a research analyst or financial analyst.
