Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, collect, and analyze financial and business data from public sources and Kroll proprietary databases.
  • Prepare and review trial balances and accounting schedules, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Transfer trial balance data into Income Statement (IS) and Balance Sheet (BS) for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Update and maintain financial models and templates as per business unit guidelines.
  • Perform broad financial analysis including cash flows, ratios, segment performance, and proactively flag exceptions or anomalies.
  • Maintain high-quality work (>99% accuracy) with timely delivery within 24–48 hours or as per TAT.
  • Raise queries with team leads promptly to ensure resolution.
  • Contribute process improvement ideas to optimize workflow efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Participate in pilot runs, training sessions, and team huddles to support knowledge transfer.
  • Assist in creating SOPs, checklists, and process documentation.
  • Communicate project status and deliverables effectively to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with Kroll policies, procedures, and protocols at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, BAF, BFM, BBA, BMS, BBI, or related field. MBA/MMS preferred.
  • Progress towards CFA certification is advantageous.
  • 0–2 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or research.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of financial statements, accounting schedules, and reporting processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
