KPMG Global Services (KGS) is hiring an experienced ITA-AM Germany Corp – IT Audit Specialist in Gurugram, Haryana. This role is ideal for IT Audit professionals with 4–5 years of experience, preferably from Big 4 firms, who can assess, evaluate, and improve technology controls for European and international clients. The specialist will perform SOX 404, SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISAE 3402 audits, evaluate IT General Controls (GITCs) and IT Application Controls (ITACs), and identify control gaps while supporting automation and process efficiency initiatives. Key Responsibilities
IT Audit & Risk Assessment
- Conduct SOX 404 assessments following PCAOB standards using the work of others.
- Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of IT controls (GITCs & ITACs) across ERP suites, databases, and platforms.
- Perform ISAE 3402, SOC 1, and SOC 2 assessments per AICPA and ICAEW standards.
- Lead discussions with clients to assess technology risks and identify control gaps.
Process Improvement & Standardization
- Identify opportunities for automation and process standardization across IT audit engagements.
- Recommend enhancements to control frameworks, risk mitigation strategies, and audit procedures.
Client Interaction & Reporting
- Communicate audit findings, control gaps, and redesign recommendations to Senior Management and client stakeholders.
- Evaluate SOC1 reports for user organizations and ensure compliance with business continuity and disaster recovery best practices.
- Stay updated on privacy, security, and regulatory standards impacting technology and data integrity.
Skills & Technical Expertise
Mandatory Skills
- Prior experience in evaluating IT controls across ERP suites, Windows, Unix/Linux, Oracle, iSeries, DB2, and SQL.
- Knowledge of security measures, auditing practices, and risk assessment frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with SOC1, SOC2, ISAE 3402 audits, and SOX compliance.
- Understanding of business continuity, disaster recovery, and data privacy standards.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with frameworks such as ISA 315, COSO, COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and NIST SP 800-53.
- Big 4 or multinational IT Audit experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- BE/B-Tech, MCA, BSc-IT, or MBA.
- CISA certification preferred.
- 4–5 years of IT audit experience, preferably in Big 4 firms.
