Key Responsibilities
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Execute functional, integration, system, regression, E2E, and acceptance testing for client applications.
- Prepare and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios derived from business requirements.
- Conduct thorough test execution and defect management using tools like HP ALM and Jira.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist in validating application workflows.
- Ensure adherence to Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), black box testing techniques, and industry QA standards.
Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to enhance testing processes and solutions.
- Identify process inefficiencies, potential risks, and automation opportunities.
- Provide timely communication of testing progress, issues, and risks to project teams and senior management.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Acquire, analyze, and validate test data to ensure accurate test coverage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and system-level issues efficiently.
- Apply analytical thinking to assess problems from multiple perspectives.
Agile & Project Support
- Participate in Agile and Scrum-based development cycles.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to project documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality and compliance standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Professional Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in functional, integration, and system testing.
- Hands-on experience with QA tools, test execution, defect tracking, and Agile/Scrum methodology.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, End-to-End Testing, and UAT.
- Familiarity with HP ALM, Jira, test scripts, test scenarios, and STLC methodology.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, team members, and senior management.
