Summary
KPMG India is hiring a dedicated Analyst – Internal Audit in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This role is ideal for graduates with 0–2 years of experience in internal audit, statutory audit, process consulting, or risk advisory. Analysts will support KPMG’s Governance, Risk & Compliance Services (GRCS) team by assessing business processes, conducting risk evaluations, and assisting in internal control audits. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to risk management, process improvement, and corporate governance, while working with industry leaders and international clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct process consulting, internal audits, and risk advisory engagements under the GRCS framework.
- Support project teams in monitoring progress, managing risk, and delivering quality client services.
- Apply basic accounting, auditing, and process knowledge to project tasks.
- Assist in internal control assessments, compliance checks, and risk evaluation.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of industry trends and advisory services capabilities.
- Travel to client locations within India and internationally as required.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of internal audit, statutory audit, and risk consulting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analytics skills; familiarity with advanced analytical tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet stringent deadlines, and adapt to challenging client conditions.
- Willingness to travel within India or abroad for extended periods.
- Demonstrate integrity, ethical standards, and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree (BE/B.Tech, BCom, BMS, BBM, or equivalent).
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in internal audit, statutory audit, or risk consulting.
- Prior experience in forensic audit or fraud examination certifications is advantageous.
- Certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are a plus.
