Summary
EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is hiring a Consultant in Assurance for its Kochi, India office. This role is ideal for CA, ACCA, or accounting professionals with strong knowledge of auditing, financial controls, and assurance procedures. As an EY Assurance Consultant, you will collaborate with global teams—especially those in the MENA region—to perform substantive testing, controls review, accounting analysis, and client engagement support. Key Responsibilities
As an Assurance Consultant at EY GDS, you will:
- Deliver high-quality assurance support aligned with EY Global Methodology.
- Execute and document substantive and controls-based procedures for global client-serving teams.
- Identify accounting issues, document findings, and escalate where necessary.
- Collaborate with GDS Seniors, Assistant Managers, and international engagement teams.
- Contribute to a positive team culture with professionalism and commitment.
- Ensure confidentiality and adherence to EY’s ethical standards.
- Continuously develop knowledge of EY technologies, audit tools, and processes.
Required Qualifications
- ACCA qualified, or ACCA part-qualified (minimum 9 papers).
- CA completed or CA Inter with 3 years of articleship.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and assurance concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and Outlook.
