Key Responsibilities
As an EY BCM-Capital Markets Senior, you will:
- Serve as a senior technology consultant specializing in capital markets modernization and transformation.
- Lead teams of consultants to deliver large-scale capital market technology programs.
- Apply deep domain expertise in investment banking, forex trading, and derivatives to deliver tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to analyze requirements, perform gap analysis, and propose best-fit technology solutions.
- Manage end-to-end implementation including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Provide guidance to junior consultants and testing teams.
Required Experience & Skills
Work Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in Broadridge GLOSS development (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of post-trade processing, settlements, and trade lifecycle in capital markets.
- Expertise in Forex and Derivatives (FX Forwards, Futures, Swaps, Options, Pricing, Risk & PnL).
- Hands-on knowledge of capital market instruments (fixed income, equity, derivatives).
- Familiarity with SWIFT, FIX, and MQ integration protocols.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Java, PL/SQL, .NET, SQL Server.
- Perl and Unix/Linux scripting experience.
- Basic DevOps knowledge.
- Strong understanding of financial services technology platforms.
Functional Skills
- Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and gap analysis.
- Strong background in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Ability to design customization and configuration solutions.
- Client-facing expertise with excellent communication skills.
- Exposure to end-to-end product implementation and transformation.
Education Requirements
- MCA, BE, BTech, or equivalent qualification.
- 4–8 years of banking and capital markets industry experience.
