About the Role
EY (Ernst & Young), one of the world’s leading professional services firms, is hiring a Senior – Assurance (Core Assurance, WAMapps) in Bengaluru, India. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong audit background, preferably in Wealth and Asset Management (WAM) – Financial Services Office (FSO), and experience with technology-enabled audit tools.
As part of the Assurance team, you will leverage EY’s WAMapps platform, providing critical insights, supporting product certification, enhancing audit processes, and ensuring accurate outputs for client financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior – Core Assurance (WAMapps) at EY Bengaluru, you will:
- Provide meaningful insights on the operations of the WAM audit practice and make recommendations to improve WAMapps usage.
- Analyze client data received through PBC (Prepared by Client) files and ensure accurate flow into WAMapps outputs for financial reporting.
- Trace discrepancies or data breaks and document findings for audit teams.
- Prepare and review documentation to address risks during product certification (global and local).
- Support integration of WAMapps data into standardized workpapers (SWPs).
- Apply audit process knowledge and technology enablement to solve audit-related issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, gather inputs, and develop scenarios for decision-making.
- Assist in aligning WAMapps outputs with EY’s business strategy and compliance requirements.
Supervision Responsibilities
- Work independently while coordinating with global and local audit teams.
- Review outputs generated by WAMapps in self-onboarding managed service projects before releasing workpapers to auditors.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong audit and assurance knowledge (WAM/FSO preferred).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Business acumen with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
- Creative thinking and adaptability.
- Project management and stakeholder collaboration.
- Experience working with Third Party Administrators (TPAs), Fund Accounting, and Reporting teams.
- Preferred: Experience using WAMapps in audits or onboarding clients to WAMapps.
