Responsibilities
As an Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing accounting postings and executing reconciliations.
- Managing fixed assets transactions within the Asset Module.
- Performing month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Supporting internal control activities within the finance function.
- Participating in internal and external financial audits.
- Reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting financial processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Handling investment accounting queries (cost vs. capital classification).
- Actively supporting permanent investment projects including carve-ins, carve-outs, joint ventures, and mergers.
- Facilitating communication with legal entity controllers, plant accountants, and external stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of finance/accounting experience.
- Experience with SAP is required.
- Knowledge of US GAAP (Lease Accounting experience is valuable).
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
