Key Responsibilities
As a Guest Service Associate (F&B Service), you will:
Outlet Operations
- Perform opening and closing duties; set up tables as per hotel standards.
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and provide attentive service.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality and correct temperatures.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across service areas, following HACCP standards.
- Memorize regular guest names and preferences to create personalized experiences.
- Upsell promotions, recommend dishes, and maximize F&B revenue.
- Clear tables quickly and assist stewarding with upkeep.
- Collect and verify requisitions for food & beverage supplies.
Guest Interaction
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure every guest leaves with a positive impression of the restaurant.
- Assist other F&B outlets during peak hours as required.
Other Duties
- Stay updated on hotel services, F&B offerings, and preparation methods.
- Attend regular team briefings, training, and safety drills.
- Follow grooming standards and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Support colleagues and perform additional tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Secondary / High school education (F&B training or certifications a plus).
- Languages: Proficiency in English; additional/local languages are an advantage.
- Experience: No prior work experience required (freshers welcome).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.
- Basic computer knowledge (Opera system experience a plus).
