Key Responsibilities

As the Finance Manager at Accor’s Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach, you will:

Administration

• Oversee accounting, costing, storekeeping, purchasing, EDP, and auditing teams.
• Maintain secure and accessible financial databases for accurate reporting.

Customer Service

• Manage relationships with debtors, creditors, bankers, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop a strong vendor and service provider database in collaboration with materials and operations teams.

Financial Management

• Manage working capital, cash flow, and financial health of the property.
• Monitor procurement and purchasing processes for cost efficiency.

Operational & Reporting

• Review daily revenue reports (rooms, outlets, telephony, city ledger).
• Ensure timely distribution of revenue reports to management.
• Prepare accurate Profit & Loss statements, budgets, and executive reports.
• Conduct monthly/quarterly/annual stock audits of operating equipment and supplies.
• Present financial updates at revenue and executive committee meetings.
• Ensure insurance coverage for all hotel assets and minimize risk exposure.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles in hospitality.
• Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to analyze revenue and expense reports with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a finance management role (hospitality industry experience preferred).
• Strong track record in financial planning, audit, and compliance.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and attend key financial meetings.
