Key Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping GSA at ibis Kolkata Rajarhat, you will:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to brand standards.
- Respond promptly to guest housekeeping requests and resolve issues professionally.
- Safely handle cleaning supplies, chemicals, and guest amenities.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unusual room conditions to supervisors.
- Ensure guest privacy and security by handling keys and guest property with care.
- Collaborate with front office and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
- Manage housekeeping supplies, linens, and restocking as per requirements.
- Participate in regular training sessions on cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Maintain professional grooming and a service-oriented attitude at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in hotels (preferred).
- A friendly, customer-focused attitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning supplies, safety standards, and hygiene protocols.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
