Key Responsibilities
As the Assistant Manager – F&B Sales at Novotel Kolkata, you will:
- Act as a primary support for F&B reservation agents, ensuring technical guidance and service excellence.
- Respond to guest reservation requests with professionalism, accuracy, and courtesy.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of F&B outlets, hotel facilities, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Enforce credit policies, billing procedures, and payment methods for reservations.
- Monitor tentative, provisional, and waitlisted bookings, ensuring timely follow-up on deposits/guarantees.
- Manage guest site visits and build rapport to maximize conversions.
- Submit reports such as monthly outlet performance, promotions analysis, and objectives review.
- Supervise outlet operations, including service flow, guest requests, and check handling.
- Collaborate across hotel departments to optimize guest service and revenue.
- Implement guest recognition programs and maintain a comprehensive guest database.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Hospitality Management or Sales & Marketing.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in F&B reservations, sales, or guest service.
- Strong knowledge of F&B operations, financial aspects, and outlet supervision.
- Proficiency in reservation systems, POS software, and MS Office.
- Excellent communication, guest relations, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead by example, train team members, and ensure service standards.
