Key Responsibilities
As a Food & Beverage Executive at Novotel Visakhapatnam, you will:
- Supervise daily operations of F&B outlets to ensure smooth service.
- Welcome guests with professionalism and guide them to their tables.
- Accurately take and process food & beverage orders.
- Serve food and drinks according to Accor’s service standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and table settings in dining areas.
- Promote upselling of menu items and special offers to increase revenue.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly.
- Work closely with kitchen staff for timely and accurate order delivery.
- Assist with stock management, inventory checks, and reporting.
- Support the team in organizing special events and promotions.
- Mentor and guide junior staff to uphold Accor’s service excellence.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in food and beverage service (executive role preferred).
- Strong passion for hospitality and guest service.
- Excellent knowledge of F&B standards, etiquette, and upselling methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership qualities with a team-oriented approach.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Working knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP).
- Basic computer and POS system skills.
- Physical stamina to stand/walk for extended hours.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Fluency in English; local language knowledge is an advantage.
