Caterpillar is hiring an Accounting Associate in Bangalore, Karnataka. Responsibilities
As an Accounting Associate at Caterpillar Bangalore, you will:
- Drive process improvement initiatives within the Global Finance Services Division.
- Support product costing, period costing, manufacturing finance, and FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis).
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Work on 3–4 projects simultaneously, collaborating across teams and managers.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports with attention to accuracy and compliance.
- Support data analysis and reporting using Power BI, Excel, and other tools.
- Adapt quickly to Caterpillar’s financial processes and global business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Power BI, PowerPoint, and Excel; ERP experience a plus.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
- Strong multitasking ability and capability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CMS, or CIMA (preferred but not mandatory).
- Knowledge of financial process improvements and analytics.
- Project management experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
