Key Responsibilities

As Executive Director – SAP Tax Technology & Transformation, you will:

• Lead the growth and delivery of EY’s SAP Tax practice.
• Oversee end-to-end SAP Tax transformation projects from strategy to execution.
• Partner with EY member firms on RFPs, client presentations, and business development.
• Identify opportunities to expand EY’s presence in SAP Tax solutions.
• Advise clients on leveraging SAP functionalities to streamline tax compliance.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP Tax and third-party solutions for efficiency and risk management.
• Build and maintain long-term tax relationships with clients.
• Manage project delivery, ensuring technical excellence, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Support thought leadership by developing frameworks, insights, and best practices in SAP Tax.

• Proven leadership in SAP Tax Transformation projects (3+ end-to-end implementations).
• Strong expertise in multi-country tax requirements and deployment.
• Ability to translate business objectives into SAP tax solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Tax Technology with SAP focus.
• Experience in 5+ major SAP implementation projects.
• Expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, VAT/GST, e-invoicing, and tax engine integration.
• Background in consulting firms or large-scale transformation programs preferred.
• Hands-on with tax engines like ONESOURCE, Vertex, Avalara, Longview, CorpTax (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of tax reporting, compliance, and digital tax authority requirements.

Additional Desired Skills

• Knowledge of SAP tools like SAC, PaPM, DRC, GTS, Group Reporting.
• Experience implementing third-party tax technology solutions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Ability to define data/reporting needs for tax departments.
• Proven ability to develop commercial propositions and client solutions.
