This role is ideal for qualified accountants with 2–4 years of experience in financial accounting, IFRS/US/UK GAAP, and regulatory advisory.
As a Senior in EY FAAS, you will provide expertise in accounting change, GAAP conversion, IPO readiness, financial reporting, and transaction accounting. Key Responsibilities
As a Senior – FAAS at EY Bengaluru, you will:
- Deliver FAAS solutions within EY’s global service framework:
- Financial accounting and reporting excellence
- Accounting process improvement
- Governance, regulatory, and financing advisory
- Manage client engagements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to EY global standards.
- Conduct accounting research and benchmarking against industry practices.
- Provide recommendations to clients on accounting processes, GAAP conversion, IPOs, and transaction reporting.
- Support preparation of financial statements, policies, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with managers, senior managers, and partners on client delivery.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of IFRS, US/UK GAAP, and accounting standards.
Skills & Attributes for Success
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent professional qualification.
- 2–4 years post-qualification experience in financial accounting or advisory.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
- Flexibility to travel internationally for short-term client engagements.
- Experience in at least three of the following areas:
- Financial statement close process support
- Drafting/designing accounting policies
- GAAP conversions and new standard implementations
- IPO and transaction accounting support
- Consolidation and compilation services
- Benchmarking and market analysis
