QatarEnergy LNG is hiring a Field E&I Technician (HVAC) to join its offshore operations in Qatar. This role is essential in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable maintenance of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems for LNG facilities. The position covers preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, as well as support during pre-commissioning, commissioning, preservation, and start-up activities.

Key Responsibilities
As a Field E&I Technician (HVAC) at QatarEnergy LNG, you will:
- Maintenance & Operations
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems and equipment.
- Support senior technicians during electrical maintenance activities.
- Ensure spare parts and tools are available and in good condition before starting tasks.
- Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning
- Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, preservation, and start-up of HVAC equipment.
- Ensure maintenance and commissioning procedures are followed as per company standards.
- Troubleshooting & Reporting
- Troubleshoot HVAC issues and provide timely reports to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records and close-out reports for all completed maintenance work.
- Technical Review & Documentation
- Review HVAC-related diagrams, datasheets, logic diagrams, and hook-up drawings.
- Assist in evaluating equipment condition and recommend improvements.
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) policies.
- Report near-misses, incidents, and accidents as per company procedure.
- Actively participate in toolbox meetings and ensure safe work practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Completion of Secondary School education + vocational training program (TAFE).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience as an HVAC Technician in the oil, gas, or petrochemical industry.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on knowledge of HVAC operation, maintenance, and condition monitoring.
- Ability to interpret D&IDs, loop drawings, and HVAC-related technical documents.
- Proficient in MS Office and computer-based maintenance tools.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Adaptability to a multinational and multicultural work environment.
