Key Responsibilities
🔹 Technical Delivery (50%)
- Lead end-to-end software development, including coding, design, testing, and deployment.
- Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships to ensure strong delivery accountability.
- Define product technical roadmaps and influence technology frameworks and standards.
- Oversee DevOps adoption, continuous integration (CI/CD), and lean production practices.
- Support evaluation and integration of third-party components, libraries, and tools.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple product teams, ensuring alignment and scalability.
- Champion AI/ML and AI-based code assist tools to accelerate delivery and innovation.
🔹 Team Management (25%)
- Supervise internal and vendor development teams, guiding performance and delivery.
- Mentor developers, coach on best practices, and support career growth.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of software engineers.
- Promote agile methodologies, sprint planning, and incremental delivery practices.
🔹 Strategy & Technology Leadership (25%)
- Define and maintain delivery, quality, and vendor performance metrics.
- Prepare long-term product technology roadmaps aligned with Bain’s business vision.
- Advise leadership on emerging technologies, disruption risks, and architecture strategy.
- Improve delivery metrics such as predictability, responsiveness, and quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 8–10 years in software engineering, with leadership on enterprise-scale systems.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Frameworks: .NET, .NET Core
- Languages: C#, Python, T-SQL
- Web: React, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, GraphQL
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure, AWS (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda)
- Databases: SQL Server, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Redis
- DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, GitActions, Terraform, ARM Templates
- Messaging/Streaming: RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus
- AI/ML: Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI APIs, AI productivity tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Replit)
- Experience in Agile methodology with tools like Jira, VSTS.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage vendor collaboration.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
