Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Test Engineer at Siemens GBS Bangalore, you will:
- Design and execute test cases for end-to-end P2P processes in S/4HANA, based on SME inputs.
- Prepare and manage test data, execute test cases, report defects, and ensure customer sign-off for go-live.
- Manage the entire testing lifecycle, ensuring audit compliance and consistent execution.
- Maintain a test inventory with detailed test cases and identify opportunities for test automation.
- Handle defect management by reporting, tracking, and resolving issues effectively.
- Collaborate with business teams, project stakeholders, and SMEs to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Ensure adherence to Siemens Way of Working guidelines across all project phases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in software testing processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in test management tools (preferably SAP Solution Manager).
- Hands-on defect management experience.
- Certified as ISTQB Tester.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery.
- Working knowledge of S/4HANA and procurement processes (procure-to-receipt, strategy-to-contract, invoice-to-pay).
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel internationally as per project requirements.
