About the Role
Dell Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our PowerScale engineering team in Bangalore, India. PowerScale, a Gartner Magic Quadrant leader in Unstructured Data Storage and Management, is being re-architected for the GenAI era, supporting next-gen workloads with distributed systems, container management, cluster technologies, and large-scale data storage architectures.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and testing advanced storage solutions that enable Dell to deliver world-class, scalable, and high-performance systems.

What You’ll Do
As a Senior Software Engineer at Dell Technologies, you will:
- Design and architect high-quality distributed storage and software systems.
- Review and evaluate software/storage specifications to meet enterprise-scale needs.
- Implement test strategies to ensure product reliability, performance, and scalability.

Essential Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in C/C++ programming, data structures, and parallel programming.
- Proven experience in Unix/Linux/BSD development at user space level.
- Hands-on expertise in distributed systems and storage networking protocols.
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum development cycle.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to drive complex projects.
Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
