Key Responsibilities
As an Analyst – General Ledger, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Processing journal entries and rectification transactions as per SOPs.
- Extracting financial reports from ERP systems.
- Preparing and updating Trial Balance, Profit & Loss (P&L), and Balance Sheet reports.
- Performing general ledger reconciliations against sub-modules and trial balances.
- Supporting finance teams with basic macros and automation initiatives.
- Researching and recording transactions for cash and non-cash entries.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements for corporate consolidation.
- Supporting audit processes and providing accurate documentation.
- Exploring automation opportunities with IT collaboration.
- Verifying and processing shipping and invoicing documents, including vouchers and account statements.
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- 0–2 years of finance or accounting experience.
- BCom, BBA (Finance), MCom, or MBA (Finance) degree.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and MS Office applications.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven, complex environments.
Preferred:
- Experience in automation and process improvements.
- Exposure to corporate audits.
