Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP is hiring a Deputy Manager – Accounting & Reporting Assurance in Hyderabad, India. This role is perfect for finance and consulting professionals with 3+ years of experience in financial close transformation, performance improvement, and enabling technologies (Blackline, Trintech, Oracle ARCS, OneStream, etc.).
You’ll work with global clients, leading end-to-end implementations, managing client engagements, designing to-be processes, and leveraging finance technologies to deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities
As a Deputy Manager in Accounting & Reporting Assurance, you will:
- Lead and deliver finance transformation projects for global clients.
- Drive end-to-end implementations of Blackline and other close tools (requirement gathering → design → configuration → testing → training → deployment).
- Conduct business operating model design, governance, and service management.
- Run client workshops, demos, and training sessions; prepare documentation and user manuals.
- Manage system design, integration, and hypercare support.
- Perform business case analysis and financial close process optimization.
- Engage directly with senior client stakeholders in reviews and steering committees.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in finance function digital transformation, performance improvement, or consulting.
- Proven expertise with Financial Close tools: Blackline, Trintech, Oracle ARCS, OneStream.
- 2+ end-to-end implementations covering design, build, test, deployment, and training.
- Hands-on experience in reconciliations, variance analysis, journals, intercompany transactions, risk & compliance, cash management.
- Strong presentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint/report writing tools.
- Ability to work independently, lead distributed teams, and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent in written & verbal English.
