Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager – Financial Due Diligence at Deloitte Mumbai, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting financial due diligence for acquisitions, IPOs, and cross-border transactions.
- Reviewing and analyzing historical trading, balance sheets, cash flows, and projections.
- Preparing high-quality deliverables (Excel models, PowerPoint reports) within tight timelines.
- Identifying risks, value drivers, and key considerations that impact client decisions.
- Collaborating with international Deloitte teams on multi-country deals.
- Supporting clients across industries—from multinationals and private equity firms to owner-managed businesses.
- Building strong client relationships while delivering insights with commercial acumen.
Skills & Qualifications
- CA / CFA (International) qualified (first-time pass preferred).
- Strong experience or exposure in transaction advisory / due diligence.
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong report-writing and reviewing ability with attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and ability to identify risks and opportunities.
- Fluency in English and Japanese (mandatory); knowledge of French/German is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
