Job Summary
Deloitte South Asia is hiring a Sr. Team Lead (Deputy Manager) – Project Accounting and Reporting for its Finance Transformation team in Bengaluru Eco Space. The role involves managing project accounting, cost allocations, reconciliations, journals, and month-end reporting while supporting project lifecycle management. You’ll collaborate with finance leaders, ensure compliance, and deliver accurate financial insights that drive strategic decision-making.
This is an excellent opportunity for finance professionals with 6–10 years of experience in project accounting or financial operations, preferably with Oracle R12 (ERP) and advanced reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery
- Project Cost Allocations: Accurately allocate costs across accounts while ensuring compliance.
- Accruals & Journals: Prepare, validate, and process accruals and journals in alignment with project data.
- Project Lifecycle Management: Manage creation, updates, and closures of projects with accuracy and consistency.
- Month-End Reporting: Consolidate project costs and deliver timely financial summaries.
- Reconciliations & Reviews: Perform auto-reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and conduct zero-project reviews.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements; prepare audit-ready reports.
- Dashboards & Training: Build financial dashboards, deliver insights, and conduct training to upskill team members.
Team Lead Support
- Provide operational insights and workflow optimization.
- Escalate issues and support compliance monitoring.
- Coordinate resources and assist in process improvements.
Required Skills & Attributes
- 6–10 years of experience in project accounting, financial operations, or related areas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle R12 preferred) and financial reporting tools.
- Knowledge of reconciliations, cost allocations, and month-end accounting.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CPA / CMA certification is an added advantage.
