Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager – Valuations at Deloitte Mumbai, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and reviewing complex valuation models across diverse industries.
- Conducting purchase price allocation (PPA) and impairment testing of goodwill and intangibles as per IFRS.
- Collaborating with senior team members to analyze client issues and provide practical solutions.
- Supervising and reviewing the work of junior analysts.
- Managing assignment budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
- Liaising directly with clients and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Supporting valuation projects for mergers, demergers, acquisitions, divestitures, disputes, and portfolio valuations.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications
- CA / CPA / MBA / CFA (International).
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience in business valuations, investment banking, or Big 4 firms.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of financial & valuation principles.
- Hands-on financial modeling expertise (advanced Excel skills).
- Experience with CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Factiva, Thomson, and other research databases.
- Knowledge of IFRS-based purchase price allocation and impairment testing.
