Role Overview
KPMG Global Services (KGS) is hiring a Senior Associate 1 to lead audit service delivery for assigned dedicated teams (ET) in the Asset Management and Diversified Clients (AMDC) sector. This role provides an opportunity to mentor associates, manage audit deliverables, and drive process optimization for clients across US audits. The role involves US Senior level reviews, industry-specific audit guidance, and collaboration with onshore teams.

Key Responsibilities
Audit Delivery & Quality
- Lead audit service delivery for dedicated teams for ET clients.
- Perform US Senior-level reviews for work prepared by GDC teams.
- Ensure work is planned, organized, and executed with high quality and efficiency.
- Raise issues promptly and work with managers, rotationals, and ET for resolution.
- Integrate Quality and Risk Management (QRM) feedback into work and team development.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
- Train, mentor, and provide clarifications to associates on industry-specific audit procedures and client matters.
- Facilitate conceptual audit trainings for the team.
- Guide junior team members on process improvements and best practices.
Process Optimization & Client Engagement
- Identify opportunities to standardize and optimize audit processes across clients and industries.
- Demonstrate professionalism, industry competence, and clear communication with ET.
- Participate in firm initiatives, including strategic projects and CSR programs.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- Strong audit and accounting knowledge.
- Proficient in MS Office and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Competent in project management, time management, coaching, and counselling.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Big 4 or leading audit firms/shared service centers.
- In-depth understanding of Asset Management industry: Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Building Construction, Real Estate.
- Strong analytical, rational, and insightful mindset.
