Summary
KPMG Global Services (KGS) is seeking a Senior – Audit to support UK-based audit engagements from its Gurgaon office. This role is ideal for professionals with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate or international client-facing audits at a Big 4 firm. The Senior Auditor will lead a small team, manage audit deliverables, and gain exposure to complex sections of financial statements, cross-border client interactions, and industry-specific audits in sectors such as Manufacturing, Consumer Markets, Retail, Government, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and manage a team of 6–7 audit professionals, including graduates and experienced staff.
- Motivate the team to meet quality standards and agreed SLAs.
- Review team deliverables and provide timely feedback to enhance performance.
Audit Execution & Client Engagement
- Be an active member of audit engagement teams, performing audit procedures and testing.
- Regularly communicate with clients and onshore UK teams to provide updates on audit progress.
- Identify missing information or issues and ensure resolution tracking.
- Maintain data confidentiality and ensure adherence to risk management policies.
Knowledge Sharing & Mentoring
- Share knowledge and mentor junior team members to support professional development.
- Build relationships with onshore teams across different locations.
- Ensure audit execution aligns with country-specific statutory requirements and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (ICAI or ACCA).
- 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in Big 4 firms with corporate or international client exposure.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Consumer Markets, Retail, Government, or Healthcare sectors is advantageous.
Mandatory Skills
- In-depth knowledge of external audit practices for corporate/international clients.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Professional is a plus.
