Summary
KPMG Global Services (KGS) is seeking a Manager – Financial Transformation to join its Integration & Separation (I&S) team within the Deal Advisory group in Gurgaon, Haryana. This role offers exposure to high-impact M&A transactions and financial transformation projects across industries. As a manager, you will work closely with CFOs and finance stakeholders to plan, implement, and optimize finance operations across the deal lifecycle, from pre-deal planning to post-deal integration or separation. Ideal candidates have strong financial acumen, project management expertise, and experience in M&A finance advisory.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Transformation & M&A Integration
- Lead finance workstreams on Integration & Separation (I&S) projects for M&A transactions.
- Collaborate with CFOs and finance stakeholders to plan and execute finance organization changes across the deal lifecycle.
- Provide support from pre-deal planning to post-deal execution, ensuring smooth integration or separation of finance functions.
Project Management & Operations
- Manage day-to-day project office activities, including PMO tasks on small to medium-sized engagements.
- Oversee engagement financials and supervise junior team members on larger projects.
- Contribute to sections of reports and deliverables for I&S projects.
Client Engagement & Advisory
- Work with clients across diverse industries and geographies.
- Collaborate with banks, law firms, technology partners, and other advisory firms as needed for engagements.
- Support proposal preparation and business development initiatives when not on active projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields from an accredited university.
- 8–12 years of experience in finance, consulting, or related disciplines, preferably with a Big 4 or strategy consulting firm.
- Familiarity with the full deal lifecycle, including pre-signing, post-close operations, and M&A finance advisory.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting sub-functions such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Internal Audit.
- Experience with transition service agreements (TSAs), charts of accounts, and shared services models.
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; strong analytical and commercial awareness.
