Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance backend software solutions for IBM’s hybrid cloud products.
- Collaborate with Architects, UI/UX Developers, and Offering Managers globally.
- Implement new AI-infused features and enhance existing product capabilities.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle: R&D, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Provide technical input for project planning, tracking, and execution.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of innovation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–7 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Expertise in Java, JavaEE, Python, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, and SOAP/.NET.
- Experience with application servers like tWAS, WebLogic, Liberty.
- Database experience: DB2, MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of authentication & security protocols: LDAP, OIDC/OAuth/SSO.
- Proficient with DevOps tools: Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, InstallAnywhere.
- Familiarity with Linux, Windows, Docker, Kubernetes, YAML.
- Strong problem-solving skills, multitasking ability, and excellent communication.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to cloud platforms: AWS EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, HTTP, JSON, and XML.
- Experience identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and dynamic project requirements.
- Strong collaborative mindset with experience in cross-functional global teams.
