Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & P&L Management
- Assist in monthly standalone P&L preparation by posting and reviewing provisions received from all functions.
- Conduct GL scrutiny and variance analysis to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ensure timely completion of team tasks and adherence to reporting timelines.
Investment Accounting
- Handle accounting for investments purchased and sold by the company, including dividend income accounting.
- Reconcile records with Mutual Fund agencies and ensure completeness of all investment-related transactions.
General Ledger (GL) Scrutiny & Reconciliation
- Periodically review assigned GL accounts to validate variations and ensure transaction completeness.
- Maintain accounting hygiene through timely reconciliation and clearing of open items.
Statutory Audit Support
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, plants, sales locations, and other functions to provide required documentation and support audit processes.
Project Support & Team Collaboration
- Assist senior team members in 1–2 finance projects annually and drive them to completion.
- Act as a team player, ensuring smooth execution of team responsibilities and deadlines.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of P&L accounting, investment accounting, and GL reconciliation.
- Familiarity with statutory audit processes and finance documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously with accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Graduate in Accounts, Finance, or Commerce.
- Marks Requirement: Minimum 50% marks throughout education without backlogs.
- Experience: 1–3 years in accounts, finance, or investment accounting roles.
