Key Responsibilities
Food & Beverage Operations
- Complete closing duties: store reusable goods, break down items, clean equipment, lock refrigerators, and secure service areas.
- Set up, stock, and maintain workstations; ensure cleanliness and presentation of china, glassware, and silver.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout shifts using clean-as-you-go practices.
- Assist in daily operations of restaurants, banquets, and room service.
Guest Service & Communication
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to Ritz-Carlton standards.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
- Support team efforts to meet operational and guest service goals.
- Handle reasonable guest requests or escalate to supervisors as needed.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety and security policies; report accidents or unsafe conditions.
- Maintain personal appearance, cleanliness, and adherence to uniform standards.
- Protect company assets and confidential information.
Physical & Operational Requirements
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during a shift.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Navigate stairs, ramps, and uneven surfaces; reach overhead and below the knees; bend, twist, and stoop as needed.
- Use fine motor skills for handling food service items.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- No prior work or supervisory experience required.
