Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare ingredients, including portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, and storing food.
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
- Operate kitchen appliances including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
- Prepare cold foods as required and ensure proper portioning and plating.
- Monitor food quality and test food for proper cooking.
Kitchen Operations
- Set up and break down workstations efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness by washing and disinfecting kitchen areas, tools, and equipment.
- Check and ensure correct temperature of appliances and food.
- Monitor stock of kitchen supplies and report shortages.
Professional Conduct & Safety
- Follow all company and safety policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, or unsafe work conditions.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance; ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members.
- Support team to achieve quality standards and operational goals.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of culinary or kitchen experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
