📋 Key Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on kitchen, mechanical room equipment, and tools.
- Conduct visual inspections and clean/lubricate equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanical systems.
Guest Service & Support
- Respond promptly to guest repair requests and maintenance issues.
- Communicate effectively with guests to resolve concerns with a service-first attitude.
- Program TVs and perform minor housekeeping and engineering inventory duties.
Safety & Compliance
- Use Lockout/Tagout system for safety during maintenance.
- Maintain proper storage of flammable materials and follow all safety protocols.
- Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, and accidents immediately.
Team Collaboration & Reporting
- Communicate daily activities and issues to shift teams.
- Support team in reaching common goals with clear and professional communication.
- Assist in inventory management by requisitioning parts and supplies as needed.
✅ Skills & Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in general maintenance including interior/exterior surface prep and painting.
- Prior experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D Equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Key Competencies
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer skills for logging schedules and making adjustments.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
