📋 Job Details at a Glance

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Audit daily revenue, reports, and supporting vouchers to ensure accuracy
• Verify all departmental charges posted to guest accounts follow correct procedures
• Monitor and control gifts, entertainment vouchers, and complimentary room authorizations
• Reconcile internet, telephone, and POS system reports to ensure accurate revenue capture
• Ensure accurate reporting of city ledger, crew allowances, credit cards, car park, and safe key revenues
• Prepare daily revenue reports and rebate journals for management
• Review banquet, function, restaurant, and bar revenue postings
• Maintain compliance with VAT invoice issuance and tax regulations
• Conduct monthly audits of house float counts and safety deposit boxes
• Implement manual accounting procedures in case of system failure
• Collaborate with Credit & AR teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date financial records
• Follow up with Front Office, Outlets, and Reservations for unresolved discrepancies
• Support smooth department operations by executing additional assigned tasks

🎯 Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and auditing skills with high attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office, financial accounting tools, and hospitality management systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English
• Thorough knowledge of tax laws, hotel accounting practices, and federal/local accounting standards
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and ensure accuracy under pressure
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to lead operational audits and maintain strict compliance with company policies

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (University preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial operations management at a 5-star international hotel
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in hotel accounting
• Solid understanding of local tax laws and audit practices
• Proven experience in preparing accurate financial reports and reconciliation
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships
