📋 Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and publish timely monthly and annual financial statements.
- Ensure smooth month-end and year-end closure processes.
- Manage tax filings, statutory reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies for robust internal controls.
Audit & Compliance
- Interface with auditors to ensure audits are completed on schedule.
- Address audit queries and resolve financial discrepancies efficiently.
- Coordinate with tax consultants to provide documentation for authorities.
- Focus on audit closures, tax litigation, and regulatory compliance.
Financial Analysis & Strategy
- Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Analyze complex financial data to provide actionable insights.
- Implement financial process improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the accounting and finance team.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Communicate financial information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
🎯 Skills & Qualifications
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in senior accounting, finance control, or financial management roles.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Expertise in financial software: Tally.ERP, Zoho Books, or similar.
