Key Responsibilities
As the Area Lead – Physical Security at Meta, you will:
- Coordinate and manage routine and strategic security programs for multiple offices in South Asia
- Oversee the local guard force, ensuring compliance with KPIs and operational standards
- Develop, implement, and continuously enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Response Plans (ERPs)
- Assess risks, identify vulnerabilities, and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies
- Lead security awareness and safety training for Meta employees in collaboration with Site Leadership
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative security solutions
- Monitor and evaluate CCTV, access control systems (e.g., Genetec, CCURE), and other security technologies
- Ensure compliance with global security standards, programs, and industry best practices
- Stay updated on security industry trends and adapt operations accordingly
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience in physical security operations, emergency management, risk assessment, and crisis management
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing guard force operations
- Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with CCTV and access control systems
- Knowledge of physical security design specifications and standards
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing complex physical security programs
- Ability to communicate complex security strategies to diverse audiences
- Innovative approach to strategic security planning
- ASIS CPP or PSP certification highly desirable
