Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager – Debt Management Services, your responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving collection targets for assigned regions, including PL Rollback and PSBL recovery goals
  • Controlling delinquency and focusing on reducing write-offs
  • Ensuring proper execution of legal actions (Section 138, arbitration, summons, warrants) in coordination with legal teams
  • Managing cost of collections and driving collection efficiency
  • Ensuring proper documentation and compliance with audit requirements
  • Maintaining adequate Feet-on-Street presence across regions and customer segments
  • Defining and tracking productivity metrics for Collection Officers, DMAs, and Agencies
  • Conducting weekly reviews with field collection executives to drive performance
  • Evaluating and performing background/reference checks on newly appointed DMAs/agencies
  • Managing ongoing training and development needs for Collection Executives (CEs)
  • Supporting legal and police matters associated with collections
  • Driving the CHAMPION CHAMPION collection initiative in the field
  • Performing random customer visits for feedback and issue resolution

Qualifications

  • MBA in Finance/Operations with at least 3 years of relevant experience OR
  • Graduation with 7–8 years of relevant experience in collections or recovery operations
  • Prior experience in NBFCs or financial services will be an added advantage
