This position offers a unique opportunity to lead financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting activities for Deloitte’s South-East Asia business unit. Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead the end-to-end month-end close process, ensuring accurate accruals, allocations, and financial reconciliations.
• Perform detailed variance analysis, expense reviews, and profitability assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze key financial metrics including headcount, utilization, billing, and statistical data for accurate group reporting.

Management Information Systems (MIS) & Reporting

• Prepare and refine comprehensive MIS reports and financial presentations aligned with business objectives.
• Generate and submit timely group financial reports as per global calendar and compliance standards.
• Conduct in-depth data validation and analysis to enhance report accuracy and decision-making quality.

Accounting Operations & Controls

• Oversee accounting operations for the business unit, including payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and expense reporting.
• Monitor L3 P&L, balance sheet, and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and suggest process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain strong governance and control standards.

Forecasting, Budgeting & Collaboration

• Drive collaborative financial forecasting and budgeting efforts with various business units and global finance teams.
• Support leadership by delivering actionable financial insights to assist strategic planning and business growth initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on FP&A, MIS, and accounting operations experience, preferably within consulting, professional services, or technology sectors.
• Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or CWA qualification mandatory.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros), and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in managing month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting cycles.
