💼 Key Responsibilities

• Architect, provision, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) components including compute, storage, virtual cloud networks (VCNs), subnets, gateways, and identity services.
• Configure and maintain Network Security Groups (NSGs), security lists, and load balancers ensuring cloud network security.
• Monitor OCI usage, optimize resource allocation, manage auto-scaling, and track Universal Credits consumption to control cloud costs effectively.
• Implement and administer IAM policies, user groups, and fine-grained access controls to secure OCI environments.
• Conduct security reviews, vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance auditing within OCI.
• Design and manage disaster recovery (DR) strategies, backup solutions, and cross-region replication for high availability.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management using scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
• Maintain version-controlled infrastructure automation scripts for consistent and repeatable cloud deployments.
• Troubleshoot OCI infrastructure issues and collaborate with application and security teams for resolution.
• Handle patching, system upgrades, and release management of OCI infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance.

🔧 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutes.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architecture and administration.
• Strong knowledge of OCI compute, storage, networking, identity & access management, and security controls.
• Proven experience with network security configurations including NSGs, security lists, and load balancers.
• Skilled in monitoring cloud usage, auto-scaling configurations, and cost optimization on OCI.
• Proficient in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent tools.
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery planning, and cross-region replication in cloud environments.
• Ability to perform security audits, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation on OCI.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
