🛠️ Key Responsibilities

As a Node.js Consultant at Deloitte, you will:

🔧 Core Development & Architecture

• Build high-performance, scalable backend microservices using Node.js and MongoDB
• Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs and application integrations using enterprise integration (EAI) patterns
• Architect event-driven and distributed systems using Kafka and service mesh technologies

☁️ Cloud & DevOps Integration

• Implement solutions on Microsoft Azure using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
• Drive automation, observability, and deployment best practices
• Set up coding guidelines, code reviews, and performance benchmarking for scalable cloud-native apps

🧩 Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with UX, Product, and Business teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences
• Participate in system design discussions with architects and technology boards
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing and solution reviews

🚀 Innovation & Digital Banking

• Contribute to building completely digital, human-less banking experiences for Indian and global clients
• Design APIs and internal platforms for scalable integrations
• Research emerging technologies in microservices, serverless architecture, big data, and DevOps

🎓 Skills & Qualifications

✅ Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or ECE
• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in Node.js development
• Expertise in MongoDB or other NoSQL databases

🔧 Technical Skills

• Proven experience in designing microservice-based architectures
• Proficient in CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and cloud environments (especially Azure)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, API Gateways, and distributed caching solutions

🧠 Additional Skills

• Knowledge of Kafka, service orchestration/choreography, and CDN architectures
• Strong understanding of secure coding, scalable infrastructure, and software performance
• Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-team collaboration abilities

🌍 Location & Work Mode

• Base Location: Mumbai (with roles also available in Bangalore, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad)
• Work Type: Hybrid Model (Remote + On-Site)
• Travel: Occasional client site visits as required
