💼 Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant – AWS DevOps at Deloitte India, your role will include:
Cloud Infrastructure & Automation
- Design and manage AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Automate routine operational tasks with Python, Bash, or PowerShell
CI/CD & Deployment
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Runners
- Support containerized deployments via Docker and AWS ECS/EKS
Security & Monitoring
- Configure IAM roles, policies, encryption settings, and security groups
- Support cloud security using AWS KMS, Secrets Manager, and AWS Config
- Use tools like CloudWatch, ELK Stack for monitoring and alerting
Collaboration & Support
- Work with cross-functional teams and senior DevOps engineers
- Assist with system patching, configuration updates, and disaster recovery plans
- Document workflows, UAT test cases, and deployment processes
🧠 Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS core services
- Working knowledge of Terraform, GitHub, Docker
- Familiarity with Linux environments and networking concepts
- Proficient in Python or Bash scripting
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and analytical skills
Preferred Background
- 4–8 years of relevant work experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
