Key Responsibilities
As a Terraform Consultant at Deloitte, you will be responsible for:
1. Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
- Configure and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and RDS to meet client needs.
- Assist in the creation and management of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub Runners.
2. Cloud Automation & Scripting
- Develop automation scripts using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell to improve cloud infrastructure management.
- Work with containerization tools like Docker and AWS ECS/EKS to enable container-based deployments.
- Implement security best practices within AWS environments, including IAM roles, policies, and encryption settings.
3. Collaboration & Support
- Coordinate with process owners to understand existing workflows and design efficient cloud automation processes.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting issues with cloud services, ensuring quick resolution.
- Work closely with senior engineers to help with cloud deployments, patching, and updates.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for solutions, including test procedures and scenarios during the UAT and production phases.
- Contribute to monitoring and logging activities using AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, or similar platforms.
Desired Qualifications
