Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Area Manager – Underwriting, you will:
- Conduct timely and accurate underwriting of professional loans and medical equipment financing applications
- Ensure strict adherence to Bajaj Finance’s credit policies and risk guidelines
- Collaborate with Business, Risk, and Operations teams to achieve long-term business goals
- Manage underwriting turnaround times (TATs) to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Evaluate creditworthiness of professionals and medical equipment financing applicants based on market intelligence and industry knowledge
- Drive compliance and ownership of internal underwriting processes to minimize risks and ensure policy adherence
Essential Skills and Competencies
- Expertise in loan underwriting for professional and medical equipment financing segments
- Strong analytical skills to assess credit risk and loan viability

Qualifications
