Key Responsibilities
As a Neuro Sciences Technologist, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting neurodiagnostic procedures such as:
- Electroencephalography (EEG)
- Electromyography (EMG)
- Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) tests
- Evoked Potential (EP) tests
- Operating, maintaining, and calibrating neurodiagnostic equipment
- Preparing patients for neurological examinations with empathy and professionalism
- Assisting neurologists and neurosurgeons with intraoperative monitoring, if required
- Ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of diagnostic results
- Upholding Apollo’s standards of safety, hygiene, and patient privacy
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of neurophysiology and neurodiagnostic techniques
- Hands-on experience with EEG, EMG, NCV, and other neurological assessments
- Ability to handle diagnostic equipment and troubleshoot technical issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail with patient-centric approach
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Neuro Technology, Neuroscience, or Allied Health Sciences
- Certification or diploma in Neurodiagnostic Technology is an added advantage
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience in a hospital or diagnostic center
- Familiarity with hospital protocols and clinical documentation
