🔧 Key Responsibilities
As an Azure Data Engineer at Deloitte India, you will:
- Design, build, and implement Azure-based data solutions using modern cloud tools.
- Develop robust ETL pipelines, data orchestration using Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.
- Configure event-driven architecture using Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, and HDInsight.
- Work with Azure Databricks (PySpark, Scala) to process and transform big data.
- Manage and secure data access, authentication, and authorization protocols using Azure Vault.
- Maintain solution documentation including technical specs, testing protocols, and UAT procedures.
- Collaborate with business users and process owners to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable architecture.
✅ Required Skills
- 3–15 years of experience in Azure Data Engineering, data warehouse development, or cloud data architecture.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Databricks (PySpark, Scala)
- Stream Analytics, Event Hub, HDInsight
- Azure DevOps Pipelines (CI/CD)
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and hybrid data environments.
- Knowledge of Git, Vault, and DevOps best practices.
- Ability to lead small teams (for senior-level roles).
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Preferred: Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
