🔧 Key Responsibilities
✅ HVAC System Design
- Perform heat load/cooling load calculations, air flow design, and head loss calculations.
- Design HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, VRFs, and ventilation fans.
- Plan optimized layouts for ducting, piping, and control systems.
- Create comprehensive design basis reports and detailed engineering drawings.
🧾 Technical Documentation & Procurement
- Prepare BOQs, technical specs, RFQs, and TBEs.
- Review and comment on vendor engineering documents.
- Support procurement and vendors in project execution and documentation control.
🏗️ Compliance & Standards
- Ensure design compliance with international codes and standards such as:
- ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, BS, SBC, and DW.
- Maintain adherence to building codes, quality, and safety norms.
🤝 Coordination & Client Interface
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Attend technical meetings with clients and vendors.
- Conduct site visits and vendor inspections as required.
