Key Responsibilities

As a Neuro Sciences Technologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting neurodiagnostic procedures such as:
    • Electroencephalography (EEG)
    • Electromyography (EMG)
    • Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) tests
    • Evoked Potential (EP) tests
  • Operating, maintaining, and calibrating neurodiagnostic equipment
  • Preparing patients for neurological examinations with empathy and professionalism
  • Assisting neurologists and neurosurgeons with intraoperative monitoring, if required
  • Ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of diagnostic results
  • Upholding Apollo’s standards of safety, hygiene, and patient privacy

Required Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of neurophysiology and neurodiagnostic techniques
  • Hands-on experience with EEG, EMG, NCV, and other neurological assessments
  • Ability to handle diagnostic equipment and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail with patient-centric approach

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Neuro Technology, Neuroscience, or Allied Health Sciences
  • Certification or diploma in Neurodiagnostic Technology is an added advantage
  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience in a hospital or diagnostic center
  • Familiarity with hospital protocols and clinical documentation
